Today, the Music and Love group went to visit a new place called Byron House. When we arrived, we were welcomed by a spacious living room filled with lots of people who were excited to see us. We played some songs and the audience was delighted, showing their appreciation by clapping loudly. However, the highlight of the day was when two boys performed a piano duet, where one of them played the keys while the other one created a cool sound by slapping the bottom of the piano. The audience was amazed by their performance, shouting "Bravo". We also had the pleasure of meeting two new young musicians from Virginia who joined us. They played so awesome we were all amazed! The staff at Byron House were kind enough to make posters for Music and Love and put them on their bulletin boards. Overall, it was a great experience for us! (Reported by Allie Rui)

We experienced a snow week and everybody played and frolicked in the snow, whether sledding, skiing or more classic, snow angels, building snowmen and snowballs. But even throughout all the fun, we haven’t forgotten our mission by creating a positive impact on the community through the skills of talented musicians. We gathered today at Larmax Homes to spread music and love in the comfort of being under a roof together. (Reported by Emma Hou)
New Year, new music, and new faces! Today the Music and Love group played for a new senior house Larmax Homes on a very chilly winter day in the warmth of the home. It was the first time the Music and Love group gathered together since the holiday season of last year. The concert was opened by Emma’s remarkable Mozart piano concerto, followed by other exceptional performances such as, Allie’s violin concerto in D major, Rishita’s Fur Elise, Rachel’s Chopin nocturne, Benjamin’s Beethoven op 14 no 1, and Eileen and Irene’s piano and violin duet River flows in you. At the end, we were surprised with tote bags for everyone with the Music and Love logo. We will carry it around every day! (Reported by Emma Hou)
