On a chilly autumn day, the Music and Love group once again returned to the Raphael House, where the seniors were brought with new surprises. This time, Chloe Robertson played the guitar. The audience were amazed by the light and peaceful performance. The tranquility was like the moonlight from a full and bright moon shining into your bedroom window. The four future stars from the MCYO played a joyful violin quartet. Both were a delicacy to the seniors. As the Music and Love group became a frequent visitor to the Raphael House, the young performers began to make friends with the seniors, bond with each other and spread joy. (Reported by Emma Hou)

BOO TO YOU! As Halloween draws near, today the Music and Love Group had the Halloween concert at the Raphael House. This is the second time we visited Raphael’s house and this time 11 young players brought in Halloween spirit by playing piano and violin with their costumes. On stage, we had a cute spooky little witch, an adorable little Elsa, a furry wolf pup and gorgeous princesses. Little Raphael the cat of the Raphael House was attracted by the music and also shared the moment with us! Pink, red, black, white and green, there’s mischief brewing this Halloween! The Music and Love group received an invitation from Asheir Homes to bring music and love to seniors. Today we had 10 performers, who played violin, cello and piano. “You play nicely.” Emma’s Prelude in C major by Bach received a warm praise. Not only impressed by the young players’ performances, the girls' pretty shoes and dresses were also liked by the audience. They lit up the house! We enjoyed the chilly fall weather, the change of colors in the leaves and the time we spent together in the Asheir Homes. (Reported by Emma Hou)
On a very beautiful fall afternoon, the Music and Love group made their debut at the Raphael House, an assisted living community in Rockville, Maryland. Ten young performers, ranging from the age of 7 to 14, played piano, viola, violin, and cello in the one-hour concert. Our young talents played a varied collection of music, including the Chopin Nocturne No. 20 in C# minor, or a Christmas classic, Let it Snow. Through their musical talents, they spread love and care to senior communities. Warm sunshine, pretty smiling faces, and joy of music made the debut an unforgettable moment for everyone. Music and Love group is looking forward to bringing in more performance to senior communities.
