ComposeLab Composition Lesson 1

Wow, our first composition lesson was such an exciting and informative experience! We were so lucky to have three talented 8th graders as our composition teachers. Even though it was a day off from school, we had a group of 12 young musicians who were eager to learn how to compose music online. Our teacher, Benjamin, kicked off the lesson by introducing us to Mario Paint Composer, an awesome online software that allowed us to create music in a super user-friendly way. It was so cool to learn how to use the software and understand the basics of composing music. At the end of the lesson, we created a song called 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'. It was such an incredible experience to witness the power of music composition firsthand and work together to create something truly special. (Reported by Allie Rui)
