Concert at Brightview Grosvenor

Wow, the weather today was amazing! Finally, summer has graced us with its presence. Today, the Music and Love group had our regular performance at Brightview Grosvenor. Before our show, we took group pictures for our upcoming concert at NIH in June.  We all dressed up in formal clothes and held our instruments while taking pictures. It was so much fun! As we got into the lobby, the audience was already assembled, eagerly waiting for the performance to begin. Once the performance started, the audience showed great enthusiasm and appreciation by applauding each performer. As the show went on, more and more people joined in, heading towards the lobby and upstairs areas to get the most out of the experience. The event featured two groups from MCYO, the Future Stars group String Quintet and the Prep Strings group String Quartet, who gave breathtaking performances. Additionally, two new musicians did a great job for the groups. My favorite part was when Eileen and Eric played a beautiful piano and cello duet called 'Salut d'Amour'. It was incredibly touching and something I won't forget anytime soon. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved. (Reported by Allie Rui)
