On a bright and sunny afternoon, the Music and Love group headed to Byron House, ready to perform for the residents. As we entered, we were greeted by a warm, cozy lobby filled with the sights of autumn—orange and yellow flowers in every corner, colorful leaves hanging from the ceiling, and pumpkins on little tables, making the place feel just like fall. When Allie started playing the first song 'The Summer 3rd Movement by Vivaldi', the room filled with the sweet sounds of music. The residents, sitting in comfy chairs, smiled right away. A few of them even tapped their feet or clapped along, and some started to hum the songs they recognized softly. Chloe played a graceful song that made everyone feel light and joyful as if they were dancing through a sunlit garden. After each song, the residents cheered and thanked the musicians with big, warm smiles. At last, we packed up our instruments, feeling proud of how well we played, and waved goodbye, promising to come back next time. It was a special day filled with the magic of music and the joy of sharing it with others! (Reported by Allie Rui)
