This Sunday afternoon, I got to go to the Kensington Park Senior Center for the first time, and it was really awesome! Even though it was super hot and sticky outside, around 17 kids came to play music, and two families traveled all the way from Virginia! We also met 6 new friends who joined our Music and Love group. The seniors and staff were so nice and made us feel very welcome. Everyone worked really hard to prepare for this special performance. It started at 2 pm, and the first song was a beautiful one by Chopin called "Nocturne," played by a talented girl named Allie Rui. Then Eileen Zhuge and Elizabeth Chung performed an amazing duet called "Isabella’s Lullaby." It was really touching! The whole afternoon was so memorable and fun for everyone. It was great to see how happy our music made the seniors, and I can't wait to go back and play for them again soon! (Reported by Allie Rui)
