On a very windy day close to Thanksgiving, Music and Love visited Raphael House. Allie started the concert off with Prelude and Allegro on the violin. The sound of violin music filled the room with warmth. Next, Jake performed Childhoods on the piano, the cascading chords perfectly illustrating the ups and downs of our early life. We also had many unique performances highlighting multiple different cultures including Dance of the Golden Snake performed by Sihong on the pipa, Indian Concertino performed on the violin by Riddhima, and Sakura performed on the piano by Frankie. Faith and Esther performed Canon in D as a duet towards the end, leaving everyone with a peaceful atmosphere. In addition to bringing smiles through music, we also gave out handmade holiday cards to the seniors. At the end of the concert, everyone was cheerful and we all hope for the opportunity to perform again very soon! (Reported by Selena Ritschel)
