Strings & Sales: Students’ Fundraiser at FD Book Cafe

On a beautiful, sunny day, six talented young musicians from the Music and Love group organized a students' fundraiser at the FD Book Cafe. Jacqueline, Julianne, and Allie wowed everyone with their violin skills, filling the air with enchanting melodies. Meanwhile, Candice, Caitlyn, and Anan shared stories and experiences from their performances at senior living centers every Sunday. The audience was so moved by our performance and showed their support by generously donating. It was a quiet long weekend with fewer people on the street, but we received a lot of support from most of the pedestrians. In just 2 hours, we managed to raise $86 through all our hard work. To top it all off, we were thrilled to receive certificates and trophies at a ceremony. It was truly an inspiring and unforgettable experience for all of us! We're excited to announce that by the end of this year, we'll be donating money to our partner, Children's Inn at NIH, to show our love and support to children with rare diseases.
