Workshop: Public Speaking (Lesson 2)

In our second public speaking workshop, Sophia taught us about the structure of ethical debate. She explained that an ethical debate is a discussion about what is right or wrong, focusing on values rather than just facts. We analyzed a case and learned how to clearly state our position, support it with reasons, and respond to opposing views respectfully. Sophia also showed us how to follow proper debate formalities, like listening carefully, not interrupting, and speaking politely.
