Concert at Byron House

On Easter afternoon, we had a very special concert at the Byron House. I am Timmy, and I played a Chopin Etude on the piano. I was a little nervous, but also very excited to perform for everyone. There were many wonderful performances. Some students played duets, and others played instruments like violin, piano, and even pipa. The vibrant energy of the 'Fantaisie-Impromptu' filled the room, but the most moving sight was a resident mirroring the pianist’s every move. Her hands instinctively followed the tempo on her chair’s armrests, perfectly in sync with the melody. It was a vivid reminder that though words may fade, the rhythm of music remains etched in the heart. They all did a great job, and the music was beautiful, which we could tell because the audience was really enjoying it. Some of them even waved along the music and said “thank you” after the concert.We shared music, joy, and love on a special holiday. I hope we can come back again and play more music for them soon!
