Sakura is 9 years old and has been playing the piano for 4 years now. She won 2nd Prize in WMTA Bach-Baroque Competition 2025 as well as Honorable Mention in MCMTA 2024-2025 Judged Recital. She has also won third prize in both the 2023 and 2024 YMIC Metropolitan Music Festival and First Runner-Up Prize in the International Youth Music Competition 2024. She also won the top ratings of Superior in music festivals organized by the NVMTA including the Bach/Baroque Festival. She has started learning the oboe this academic year.

Aside from the piano, Sakura likes reading, biking, swimming, karate, abacus, and gymnastics. Sakura is trilingual, fluent in English, Japanese, and Spanish.
